Bruce Ladd, Deputy Regional Administrator, Region VII joined representatives from the federal, state, county, and city for a community leader's forum at the Nevada Housing Authority Hub -- On My Own, Inc. in Nevada, Missouri. Led by Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, MO-4th Congressional District, community leaders convened to address the rural EnVision Center initiative.
Focusing on the EnVision Center's four pillars, Congresswoman Hartzler listened to the programs and services supporting the Secretarial Initiative. The community is working to improve the county's health risk factors among Nevada's most vulnerable population groups through the Healthy Nevada Innovation Center. It is working to develop strategies to address both physical and mental health challenges to include addressing suicide prevention among the agricultural community.
